Maria Berry has 30 years experience, she is our fertility & dermatology specialist. Stacy Robson has 8 years experience, she is our IVF support, pain relief and sport medicine specialist. Both specialists are committed to bringing you the best solutions for restoring your health.
MARIA BERRY TRAINING & WORK HISTORY
- 1980-1985 CHINA, TAIWAN & UK Studying western & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) .
- 1985-1995 LONDON, UK. After studying in China, Maria helped set up the University of Westminster degree in TCM at which she taught for 10 years.
- In an orthopedic clinic in London’s Harley Street, Maria specialized in treating acute injury & helping athletes to improve performance. She extended her work to include rehabilitation. Acupuncture is useful after joint replacement, any surgery or to recover from the effects of a stroke. It is also useful for resolving chronic pain conditions such as back pain, neuralgia, myalgia, RSI and arthritis.
- Hillingdon Hospital hired Maria as a consultant to research acupuncture treatment for the syndromes affecting breast cancer patients and acupuncture treatment of menopause symptoms. Both trials showed acupuncture to have a positive and lasting effect.
- Maria later worked and studied with the western world’s leading expert in skin disease. She has spent the last 10 year developing medicines for skin diseases. This work extends to include all disease involvong tissue growth or change – Maria has a good understanding of the process of inflammatory & autoimmune diseases and has a range of effective strategies for treating them.
- 1995-2001 HONG KONG The close proximity to China allowed Maria to visit hospital departments regularly and extend her range of treatments especially in the areas of reproductive (fertility) medicine, gynaecology, obstetrics and dermatology.
- In Hong Kong she was associated with an infertility clinic. She helped hundreds of couples resolve their infertility; she used acupuncture to treat pregnant women for a wide range of conditions; to induce labor and assist throughout delivery; she also treated many children (no needles) and taught family’s how to manage chronic conditions (eg: asthma, eczema) with Chinese herbal medicines.
- 2003-2005 SINGAPORE The University of Singapore is funding research into the use of Chinese herbs to treat heart disease. Maria was invited to participate in this project.
- 2005-now. AUSTRALIA Maria moved to Brisbane, set up shop and sought local accreditation. In Australia she has taught Acupuncture at the local schools and was awarded a Master’s degree in Chinese Herbs from RMIT. Her paper studied use of Herbs in treatment of Skin diseases.

STACY ROBSON TRAINING & WORK HISTORY
- Stacy Robson is an ex state level gymnast with a life long interest in body dynamics and sport’s medicine.
- 2004-2008 Australia Stacy studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) majoring in Acupuncture at the Australian College of Natural Medicine, Brisbane.
- 2009 CHINA Stacy completed an internship at the Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanning. She spent time working with specialists from 3 different hospitals.In Nanning with hundreds of patients seeking help every day Stacy developed her skills analysing cause of disease, applying cupping, remedial massage techniques, moxa (heat) therapy and the application of electro stimulation. Stacy worked extensively on acute and chronic injuires in the orthopedic department. Acupuncture is useful after joint replacement, any surgery or to recover from the effects of a stroke. It is also useful for resolving chronic pain conditions such as back pain, neuralgia, myalgia, RSI and arthritis
- 2009 THAILAND While travelling Stacy visited a pain centre where she was impressed by the work being done on patients. She stayed on and learned the Thai version of massage and mobilisation for soft tissue injury and rehabilitation. In addition to learning more manual skills Stacy extended her knowledge of treating injuires using herbal compresses and liminents. Herbal medicines are especially useful to add to treatment of chronic injury, recurrent injury, wasting or rehabilitaion.
- 2010 AUSTRALIA . Stacy completed training as a Pilates instructor.
- Stacy specializes in treating pain, treating injuries, post surgical rehab and rehab after strokes. Stacy is uniquely placed to offer treatment to sport men & women who wish to improve their performence be that to increase flexibility, strength or stamina.
