Research – Acupuncture is good for Period Pain

Authors of a Korean systemic review have found promising evidence for the use of Acupuncture in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea. Twenty-seven RCTs (data from nearly 3000 women) were included in their analysis, which showed that, compared with pharmacological treatment, Acupuncture was associated with a significant reduction in pain.
